Sunbeam Bread Machine Recipes

Baking your own bread is smart for several reasons. It’s economical, healthy, and delicious. Luckily, there are plenty of Sunbeam bread machine recipes available to make baking your own bread healthy and convenient.

What are some of the benefits you enjoy when you bake your own bread? Let’s take a closer look.

You Save Money

The average loaf of white bread from the supermarket costs about $1.50, give or take a few cents. Healthier options tend to be more expensive and if you want something fancy, you’re looking at $3 or more dollars a loaf. High-quality sweetbreads with healthy add-ins like walnuts and cranberries can run as much as $6 to $7 a loaf!

Baking your own saves money. It might seem like it’s not that much but over time the savings add up and you’ll have enough to invest in higher quality ingredients and healthier foods to have at home.

Fresher, Tastier Bread

Baking your own bread means you’ll have access to it straight from the oven. It doesn’t get any fresher than that. Granted, if you go to a local bakery you can get your hands on a fresh-made loaf that’s still warm, but, as we said, that’s going to cost a lot more than baking your own. And if you’re comparing freshly baked bread at home to bread from the supermarket that was baked elsewhere and delivered, there is no comparison! Homemade bread is days fresher.

More Nutritious

Any time you bake something at home you have complete control over the ingredients and you know exactly what is in the recipe. Plus, you won’t have to worry about added preservatives to keep homemade food tasting fresh. Baking your own bread at home means it’ll be healthier without even trying. If you choose the best quality ingredients and add-in superfoods to enhance the bread, it’s significantly healthier than anything you can buy outside of the home.

Customization

Sunbeam Programmable

Speaking of adding ingredients, the sky is the limit when home baking bread. You can add anything you’d like and remove anything you’d like. Need gluten-free bread? Is someone in your family allergic to nuts? Want to trick a picky kid into eating veggies and other healthy foods? Baking Sunbeam bread machine recipes at home could be the answer to all of your food and dietary issues.

It’s Fun!

Baking Sunbeam bread machine recipes is fun. There’s a reason why it’s becoming a popular hobby and people who don’t need to bake their own bread at home are choosing to do so. It’s just as enjoyable as baking anything else – cupcakes, cakes, pies – but it doesn’t need to be reserved for a special occasion. Baking bread is even a fun kitchen project to get the kids involved in.

Using a Bread Machine

You can bake bread without a bread machine but if you’re serious about becoming an at-home bread baker, a bread machine is a fantastic investment.

Bread making is easy but it can take time. A bread machine makes it faster and easier. You just toss your ingredients into the machine and it does the majority of the work for you. If you’re putting off making your own bread at home because of the work, you no longer have an excuse! Bread machines are affordable and produce consistent loaves of bread every time. Personally, we love Sunbeam Bread Machines but there are plenty of options out there.
